Why do furry canines and felines (and their owners) love our services? We pamper your pet. When your cat or dog has an appointment with us, they get our complete and undivided attention. There’s no other pet in the salon, so your dog can relax and enjoy being indulged from ear to paw! Our standard grooming process includes:
Bath
Our vehicles are equipped with everything necessary to give your animal a warm and thorough bath treatment.
Blow-Dry
Immediately following the bath, your fur baby receives a soothing blow-dry and brush to get haircut ready.
Nail-Trim
Now that they're both clean and dry, we make sure their nails receive a safe and effective trimming.
Grooming
The icing on the cake. A professional grooming that leaves your fur baby looking and feeling brand new again.

FAQs
Yes! If you have a short-haired animal or just want to treat your animal to a refreshing bath treatment we can certainly do that too.
Exact timing will depend on the size of your dog, length of hair, and more but on average our appointments take about an hour for a full grooming experience.
There are many factors that go into the cost of your specific animal such as the breed and size of the dog, the type of fur or hair, how long it’s been since their last haircut, etc. After knowing those details and seeing a photo of your animal, we can provide an exact rate but our full grooming experience typically starts at $60 which includes travel to your home or office.
We think so! Not only do we come to you, but your dog doesn’t have to deal with the stress of other dogs barking (among other noises) the whole time, multiple strange faces, waiting in a cage, and being stuck there for hours. The ultimate result is convenience for you and a stress-free experience for your fur baby with one-on-one attention.
Two of our biggest beliefs are convenience for customers and quality service for animals. Prior to starting Fur On The Fly, owner Emma attended Diamond Cut Dog School in Ohio and successfully became a Certified Dog Groomer. We ensure a rigorous training for each and every person that works for us incorporating the teachings of the Certified Dog Groomer program.
Nope. As we’ve previously mentioned, we believe strongly in the one-on-one attention and personalized care each animal receives from us. As soon as we’re finished with one, we’ll have them switch places with the next one.
Yes! We service both Rockford and surrounding areas including Loves Park, Machesney Park, Roscoe, Belvidere, & Cherry Valley.
